Leipzig worried about playmaker Xavi
The Spanish midfielder has been struggling with a muscle injury since the beginning of the season.
Xavi is one of Leipzig's most important players, and his absence has been a big blow to the team.
The 27-year-old has not played since the German Super Cup final against Bayern Munich on 30 July.
Xavi has been training with the team for the past week, but he is still not fit enough to play.
Leipzig are due to play their first Champions League group game against Manchester City on 6 September.
It is unclear whether Xavi will be fit enough to play in that game.
If Xavi is not fit,Leipzig will have to find a way to replace him in the team.
One option would be to play Emil Forsberg in midfield.
Another option would be to play Marcel Sabitzer in midfield.
Leipzig will be hoping that Xavi is fit enough to play against Manchester City.
The German side will need to be at their best to get a result against the English champions.
