David Hasselhoff mourns "Baywatch" colleague Michael Newman (†68): "He was a warrior"

Hollywood star David Hasselhoff mourned the death of his former "Baywatch" colleague Michael Newman.

"He was a warrior," Hasselhoff wrote on Instagram. "He fought a courageous battle with cancer and never gave up." Newman died on January 28 at the age of 68, according to US media reports. The actor gained great popularity through his role as "Newman" in the action series "Baywatch". He played the character from 1991 to 1997 and again from 2003 to 2004.
